Passionate in her mission to give back, she enjoys volunteering her time to help causes dear to her heart. Every year, she organizes an annual cupcake party to fundraise for the Lincoln County Humane Society. She helps out with the NHL Benefit Tour to benefit Help a Child Smile, she participates in the Mud Girl run in support on Women's cancer research, and also donates her time to the Sickkids Foundation’s Great Cycle challenge and Foam Fest Run for Sickkids. An avid lover of the outdoors, it is not uncommon to find her hiking, biking, rollerblading, skating or socializing at a local festival.
